I stayed at Reed’s Motel while working near Avon Park. It’s a great place to stay and I highly recommend it. Everyone there is friendly and accomodating. It let’s one get a sense of genuine Florida, as opposed to the cookie-cutter chain places. I’m afraid that places like Reed’s are a vanishing breed in this country and we will be the poorer for it (and what a great sign in front of the motel).

We have 16-24 golfers who go on a golf outing every Spring. We have been doing this for the past 9 yrs. at different locatiions around Florida and this was without a doubt head and shoulders abave all competion. You want for nothing!!! We booked our next years outing with John and Tami at Reeds if that tells you anything. I think we have found a home!!!! Charlie and Crew

We (group of 16 golfers) just returned from a fantastic week of golf, relaxation, and hospitality . . . all thanks to John and Tami at Reeds Motel. They really know how to make their guests feel welcome! They pre-arranged the tee times, accommodations, and after-golf activities and everything went off without a hitch. The facilities at Reeds Motel are updated, spotless, and designed for comfort . . . all in a nostalgic setting. I highly recommend this motel and congratulate John and Tami on doing a first class job!

I enjoyed our week’s stay very much. The room was clean and the new bathroom fixtures were nice. John’s daily breakfasts were great, and Tami did everything she could to make us feel welcome. The Oasis is very relaxing and fun. Thanks for the snacks and beers. See you next year.

John and Tami were terriffic hosts. They spared no effort to make our golf package the most enjoyable ever, and our group has been doing this for over 25 years. Every amenity was available,and the entire property was as neat as a pin. The Oasis adds a wonderful retreat for tired golfers. I much prefer this facility to some hotel chain, where I oftentimes feel like just a number. By the time I left, I felt like part of the family.

Our golf group of 24 had the most delightful stay (again) at Reed’s Motel this month! We enjoyed everything from the delicious food, the facilities at the Oasis and even the “corn toss” game. We will be back again for Thanksgiving. Looking forward to the turkey dinner! Thanks John and Tammy for making it lots of fun. Love that “Turtle Run” golf course.

Our golf league just got back from a stay at Reeds Motel, IT was the best time. Tami & John are the best. They treated everyone like we have been friends for ever. The rooms were very clean. The courses were in great shape. Breakfast & happy hour were also sweet. Looking foward to going back for many many years to come. BOOMER

I had the pleasure of staying there 20th and it sure was an improvement over where I stayed the two nights before in Lake Vista! As stated before this motel puts the chains to shame! CLEAN, FRIENDLY and they much you feel like you are their family. Will stay there again next January.

Our group of 24 members from Palm view Hills G.C. had a twice yearly 3day golf package arranged by Reeds and I can say without a doubt it was the best time anyone could expect. The rooms were the cleanest I’ve ever seen. John and Tami were wonderful hosts and made us feel very much at home. We had two whopping breakfasts cooked by John and if we went to golf hungry it would have been our own fault. We already have booked to come back again at THANKSGIVING. I can’t sing enough praises about Tami and John because they really pull out all the stops to make our stay such fun. See ya in the fall DV!!! Cliffy Bradley
